In 2001 ABB acquired Entrelec and MTE, over a period of time ABB have absorbed the businesses of Entrelec MTE into one operation for Low Voltage Products under the ABB brand based in Coventry.

Many products formerly produced by Entrelec MTE have been replaced by equivalent equipment from ABB or have now been branded as ABB. The MTE Epack range of products is still very much available and an enhanced product range is now obtainable from ABB in Coventry as well as an increased range of Entrelec terminals.
